How This Works

Every section on your site is managed here. No code required.

  • Notepad -- Private space for ideas, follow-ups, shop fixes. Autosaves.
  • Clients -- Private tracker for every custom order. Hours, materials, money, notes. Nothing public.
  • Materials -- Private stock sheet. Steel, titanium, hardware. Dashboard warns when anything's low.
  • Portfolio -- Every knife you want shown off, sorted into categories (Bali Swords, Polecats, Claws, Mini Spears, Harpoons, Limited). Drag items between categories in one click.
  • Catalog -- Your knife models (Claw, Balisword, Mini Spear, Harpoon). Edit specs, photos, prices, status. Each model tile shows up in the Catalog grid on the homepage.
  • In the Shop -- WIP builds with progress bars. Show customers what's on the bench.
  • Build Log -- Shop updates, progress shots, announcements.
  • Events -- Blade Show, USN Gathering, meets.
  • Testimonials -- Community feedback.
  • Settings -- Blade Show banner, themes, password, data.

Changes save automatically and show up on the live site immediately.

Everything on your website is managed from here. Click a section in the sidebar, fill in a form, hit save. That's it.

1 The Pattern for Everything

Adding a model, logging a shop update, posting a testimonial -- it all works the same way. Learn it once and you've got all of it.

Every field has a hint underneath. Skip any that don't apply. Click Save when you're done.

To edit or delete: click the pencil or trash icon next to the item in the table.

2 Picking a Photo

When a form has an "Image" field, you've got 72 photos to choose from. Type the path, like this:

Swap the 15 for any number between 01 and 72. That's it.

Need a new photo that isn't in the 72? Text Blake with it. We're also building an upload button so you can do it from your phone.

3 Changing the Colors

Settings has a theme picker with 4 options. One click swaps the whole look of your site and this panel.

Four cards: Steel, Oxblood, Copper, Reverse. Click whichever you want. Saves and applies immediately.

Change your mind?

Click a different card, or hit Reset to Steel to go back to the default.

The theme you pick shows on both your public site and this admin panel.

If You Get Stuck

Did I save it? If you see a Save button, click it before closing. If the popup is gone, it saved.
Made a mistake? Click the pencil to edit or the trash to delete. Deletes ask for confirmation first.
Something broken? Text Blake a screenshot. Most stuff is fixable in a minute.
Want to start over? Settings has a "Reset to Defaults" button at the bottom. Nuclear option, but it's there.

Catalog

Your list of knife models. These are the tiles that show up in the Catalog grid on the homepage and on the Portfolio page. For "what's for sale right now," use the Available Now tab.

Available Now

Knives ready to ship. These drive both the homepage "Available Now" teaser and the full /available.html page. Public buyers contact you through the "Contact to Buy" button on each card.

How to use this

Add a knife when it's finished, photographed, and ready to sell. Every field you fill shows up on the public page.

  • Photo is the biggest thing on the card -- use a clean shot that shows the whole knife. Paste / drag / upload.
  • Tagline is the one-liner under the name. Keep it short (e.g. "Channel full dress. Dialed action.").
  • Description is 1-3 sentences on what makes it feel like this knife. Scrub AI-speak -- maker voice only.
  • Specs (Weight / Blade / Handle / Build Lead) appear in a grid at the bottom of the card. Skip any that don't apply.
  • Badge Style decides the color of the status pill (standard = navy, flagship = brass, debut + limited = accent).
  • Order arrows in the table control what shows up first on the public page. Hottest knife on top.
  • Hide takes it off the public site without deleting. Useful when you pull a piece for a show or a hold.

Changes save to Supabase the moment you stop typing -- no publish button. Reload available.html to see it live.

Archive (Past Work)

Legacy view. The Portfolio tab replaced this -- anything you saved here has been migrated over.

Portfolio

Every knife worth showing off. Sort them into categories, move them around in one click, mark which ones are featured.

Changes save locally as you work. When you're ready for customers to see them on the public site, hit Publish. That downloads the file that gets uploaded to the live site.

Homepage

Every editable section on your main site. Changes save automatically and publish instantly.

How this works

One panel per section of your main page. Click a panel header to open it and edit the copy. Every field autosaves about half a second after you stop typing. Hit the Hide Section toggle to remove the whole block from the public site without deleting anything. Reset to Default wipes your edits on that section back to the original copy.

Updates from the shop. Progress, new tools, announcements.

Blade Show, USN Gathering, local meets.

Testimonials

Community feedback and reviews.

Clients

Private. Nothing here shows on the public site. Track every custom order from first message to shipping.

How to use this

Add a client when someone commits to a build. Log hours as you go. Record materials, blems, payments, anything you'd otherwise scribble in a notebook. All of this stays on your device only.

Client List

Filter by status using the table header, or just add new ones.

Materials

Private. Stock sheet for steel, titanium, hardware, abrasives. Tap the −/+ buttons to log what you used.

How to use this

Add each material you keep around. Set a "low" threshold so the dashboard warns you before you run out. The −1 / +1 buttons let you quick-log consumption or restock without opening the full edit form.

Stock List

Rows highlighted brass are at or below the low threshold. Tap the row name to edit details.

Site configuration, themes, and data management.

Blade Show Mode

Turn this on before Blade Show to add a banner at the top of your site with your booth number. Customers scanning a QR code or visiting your site at the show will see it immediately.

Theme

Pick one of four themes. This applies to both your public site and this admin panel. Change it any time.

Your account

Signed in as —. Close this tab to stay logged in, or log out below.

Change password

Updates the password for your account. Used with the "Use password instead" fallback on the login screen.

Grant access

Need to log in on a different device, or let someone else in temporarily? Enter an email and we'll send a one-time login link (expires in 1 hour). The new user can set their own password after logging in.

Data Storage

Content is stored in your browser's local storage and persists between visits on this device. Use export/import to move data between devices.

Not for Wilfred. Everything here is live -- changes hit localStorage immediately.
